1. Employee Recruitment and Selection
The success of a company depends on the quality of its human resources. The initial stage carried out by HRD is usually recruitment, namely the process of finding and selecting competent employees who meet the qualifications and needs of a company.
2. Orientation
Orientation is an activity that is a must for HRD to introduce new employees because they can recognize their new work environment. This orientation program can make it easier for new employees to adapt. The content of this orientation is to provide information about the company that new employees need to know in the form of company background to regulations. The purpose of this orientation is to foster a working relationship between new employees and the company.
3. Maintain Conducive Working Conditions
Another main task of HRD is to create and maintain conducive work situations, conditions, and atmospheres so that employees feel comfortable at work. In addition, it motivates employees to continue to make maximum contributions in achieving the company's vision and mission.
4. Managing Relationships Between Employees
Employees are the pillars of the company, and progress is achieved if good relationships are maintained between employees and with superiors. The steps to create good relationships between employees are one of them by fostering mutual respect, helping each other (teamwork), and avoiding mutual demeanor.
5. Provide Compensation
Another main task of HRD is to provide compensation. The compensation in question is the salary, wages, or rewards that an employee is entitled to because he has contributed to the company. The HRD division must ensure that the amount of compensation is in accordance with the work contract and is paid on time and in a regular manner.
6. Development and Training
Development and training is a routine task of HRD to optimally improve human resources, employee expertise, and company performance.
